Central California is prone to wildfires in late September. Douglas Ranch is located in a very beautiful but extremely fire prone area. Please be conscious of fire danger while you are at the camp.
There are some rules that will be strictly enforced at the camp:
-NO SMOKING anywhere other than the designated concrete patio area near the dining hall. It'll be clearly marked.
-ABSOLUTELY NO FIRES anywhere on the Douglas Ranch property.
Fire danger is a very serious issue in Carmel Valley and we appreciate your adherence to the Ranch rules.
